“TotemStrips” also offers “Transition” bead & cove cedar strip packages where all 60-70 strips come from the same timber encompassing a more complete spectrum of colours in Red cedar.
Each 2″x 10″ or 2″ x 12″ timber contains enough strips to completely strip an entire canoe or kayak. Colours range from a Golden Yellow to a rich darker chocolate colour.

All strips are sequentially milled and bundled together in the order in which they were milled. As these packages are custom milled to order, allow up to 4 weeks before shipping.
The transition is naturally stunning and elegant while allowing nature to dictate the progression of colour on your Canoe or Kayak. Only timbers with absolute straight grain are chosen to eliminate grain runout. The end results are a craft being nothing less than spectacular and natural in it’s appearance completely unplanned.
